    Tour Itinerary

Please be aware that Korea Konsult AB offers no guarantee that the tour itself will be operated as advertised. All our tour itineraries are PRELIMINARY. Korea Konsult AB reserves the right to change some parts of the itinerary if needed. Eventual itinerary changes after arrival in the DPRK are beyond our control. Under no circumstances can Korea Konsult AB be held responsible for any itinerary changes.
We will do our best to ensure the itinerary is similar to the one we advertise but even in the case when we advertise special events such as Mass Dance, Beer Festival, concerts etc we cannot guarantee access to these events. While in the DPRK all decisions regarding the tour itinerary are done by our Korean partner and their decision is final.

    Tour Prices

The prices on this website are correct at the time of website publication, however, Korea Konsult AB reserves the right to raise or lower its prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices (both before and after your confirmation has been issued).

Room sharing policy: Please note that the tour price is based on a standard twin room (2 people per room) accommodation. We will do our best to find a same-sex roommate for you but we cannot guarantee you will get one. If there will be no available traveller to share the room, you will need to pay a single room supplement. We match roommates on a first-come-first-served basis and thus if you are planning to have a shared room please book your tour in advance.

    Journalist Policy

The DPRK does not allow journalists to visit the country on tourist visas. The submission of false details in the visa application would have serious consequences for us as a tour operator as well as for our Korean partners and DPRK Embassy staff. This is a risk not worth taking. By booking your tour and applying for a visa through us you confirm that you are not a journalist.

    Cancellation and Refund policy

Korea Konsult AB reserves the right to withdraw service and cancel a tour at any time. In this case a full refund will be made.

If the tourist cancels himself our cancellation charge is 30% of the total tour fee if the cancellation is made no later than 15 days prior the tour departure. For later cancellations no refund will be made. However, if you are able to take a later trip, we will do our best to offer you a discount.

If we fail to arrange your trip to the DPRK due to visa refusal, or if the DPRK decides temporarily to close its borders for tourists, or "force majeure" and you cannot join any later tour, a full refund will be made. However, Korea Konsult cannot be held liable for any fees charged by the receiving bank in your country or for the travel and hardship expenses incurred in getting to Beijing, Vladivostok or any other city where your Korea tour should have started.

We offer no refunds under any conditions for tours once you are in the DPRK.

    Photo and Video Materials Usage

All pictures and videos taken in the DPRK should be used for private purposes* only: you should not use these pictures and videos for any commercial aims and should not circulate them in any mass-media outlet. Upon receiving your booking we will require you to sign a consent letter stating that you are not a journalist and that you will not publish anything about your trip in mass-media without our consent.

    * You can use your photo and video materials in your own social-network (FB, Twitter, Vk etc.), blog, or web-site etc.

    Your Travel & Medical Insurance

Korea Konsult strongly recommends that tourists travelling to the DPRK have full medical insurance. If you have a medical condition which may affect your health or safety in North Korea you must inform us before you book your tour.

Korea Konsult cannot be held responsible for any injury to yourself or your property and in particular any consequence or effects of flight/train cancellation/delay, robbery, sickness, government intervention or other such happenings. You are advised to insure yourself against any possible risk that may occur. It is your responsibility to be covered by insurance which must include medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become too ill to continue. Any claims must be directed to your insurers.
